We stayed at Mad About Saffron for a few days and it was a fantastic experience. The hostess, Theresa, was incredibly accommodating and made our stay comfortable and easy. The cabin itself was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view. The location was perfect for exploring the adorable local businesses and the stunning Tsitsikamma forest. Theresa was always available if we needed anything, but also gave us total privacy. We especially appreciated her updates on loadshedding so we could plan our day accordingly. We would definitely return without hesitation!
We had a wonderful stay at Mad About Saffron and do recommend this hotel.

The hostess, Theresa, was so chill and helpful, making our time there hella awesome. The view was to die for, like seriously breathtaking. We went on insane hikes and did insane cycling trails, totally getting our adrenaline pumping. It was the perfect spot for young thrill-seekers like us!
The only bummer was that there wasn't a raging party scene nearby. We wished there was a cool club or bar where we could let loose and dance our hearts out.

The location of this place was fantastic, with so much to do in the area. the hiking trails at the nearby national park were absolutely mind-blowing. I wish I had stayed longer to explore more. the host of this place was incredibly nice and hospitable. They made us feel very welcome and ensured that we had a comfortable stay. We would definitely book again if we ever return to the area.
We experienced frequent power outages, sometimes lasting for several hours at a time. It was quite frustrating, although the host did provide backup lights and offered the use of a generator.

I got such great value for my money at the hotel. The room was even better than I expected - spacious and well equipped. The location was perfect, right in the center of Tsitsikama with easy access to all the adventures. The staff, especially Theresa, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I couldn't have asked for a better stay.
The only thing that could have made the morning meal better is if there were more options available.
